Orientation
We consider the orientation process crucial as it allows our educators to obtain important information about your child's needs, interests, and routines. Children can experience a smooth and effective transition when they feel secure, safe, and nurtured. This process is designed to facilitate a seamless transition from home to our service, to maintain consistency between home and the centre to help your child adapt to the new environment. Therefore, once your child is enrolled at our service, we will invite parents and children to the orientation before the child starts, so parents can share their children’s needs and interests or home routines with the educators. Parents will feel more comfortable when they know that we will use the same routines or facilitate the children’s needs and interests while they are at the centre. Similarly, the children can get to know the educators and the new environment so they will not feel too strange during the transition.
